Digits swapped on an SOV line
Billed $270 more than the pay app says.
Built for ProcoreCommitment invoices and pay apps
Your subs enter their own pay apps in Procore. SOV Check reads the PDF they attach and compares it with what they typed, down to every SOV line. Matched invoices pass your workflow step on their own; the rest are fixed on one screen, in seconds.
Illustrative sample data.
What it catches
Subs make honest mistakes when they key their own pay apps into Procore. Each one below is a check SOV Check runs, with the PDF’s value beside the one in Procore.
Billed $270 more than the pay app says.
Right vendor, wrong commitment.
Every SOV line billed in Procore must appear on the invoice.
Caught anywhere in your Procore company.
Belongs to the period it was billed for.
Checked against how the project is set up.

By hand vs with SOV Check
Your subs enter their own invoices in Procore. Someone on your team still opens each PDF and compares it, line by line, including the ones that were right all along.
By hand in Procore
Every invoice, every period. Including the ones that were right.
With SOV Check
Nothing changes for your subs. They keep billing in Procore the way they do today.
7 minutes is a by-hand estimate, not a measurement. Matched invoices pass automatically when SOV Check is a step in your workflow, set to automatic.
What it checks
Each check compares a value read from the sub’s attachment with the value they entered in Procore. Three run on every invoice. The rest run when SOV Check is a step in your Procore invoice workflow.
Invoice number, invoice date and vendor are read from the PDF or image attached to that exact Procore record and compared with what the sub entered.
The PO or subcontract number printed on the invoice is compared with the commitment the sub billed in Procore.
The math on the document is rechecked, and the amount billed on each SOV line this period is compared with what was entered.
The project printed on the invoice is compared with the Procore project it was entered on. A matching PO alone doesn’t settle it.
The same invoice entered twice, anywhere in your Procore company, without tripping on legitimate resubmissions. Possible split invoices are flagged too.
The invoice belongs to the billing period it was entered in, is billed to the right entity and address, and carries tax the way the project is set up.
Tolerances set with you. Down to zero, where a cent off is a difference.Every difference shows both values, the PDF’s and Procore’s.
In your Procore workflow
SOV Check can run beside your workflow, or as its own step inside it, including a custom workflow set up with your team. Accountants always act with their own Procore login.
In Procore, as today
Your team
Matched ones pass on their own
Only what doesn’t match
Your team
Records what it would decide. Nothing moves in Procore. Every company starts here.
Matched invoices wait for an accountant to confirm, up to 100 at a time, before the step passes.
Matched invoices pass the step on their own. The rest go to accounting review with the findings in the workflow comment.
How it works
AI reads the document, fixed rules make the call, and a person closes anything that doesn’t match.
A subcontractor or vendor enters a pay app or bill in Procore and attaches the PDF. Creating or updating it tells SOV Check.
AI reads the attached document the moment it lands: header, SOV lines, tax and totals.
Fixed rules, not AI judgement, compare each fact with the live Procore values. Every difference lists both values.
Matched invoices can pass your workflow step automatically. The rest wait for your accountant to approve, correct or return to the vendor.
For your accountants
Only the invoices that don’t match reach a person, and everything needed to close them is already there.
The sub’s document renders next to a field-by-field comparison, each value cited to the page it came from.
Approve, correct or return to the vendor without opening Procore. Every correction is read back after it saves.
In confirm mode, pass up to 100 matched invoices at once.
Press ⌘K to jump to an invoice and work the queue from the keyboard.
Each invoice keeps its history: what was checked, what was found and who decided.
A usage meter in settings, with email alerts at 75%, 90% and 100% of your plan.
Security
SOV Check streams each attachment from Procore, keeps the facts it reads and the results, and never stores your invoice files.
Connects with Procore’s own authorization. It never sees a Procore password, and your Procore permissions decide what each person can read.
Every AI request requires zero data retention and forbids training. Your invoices are never used to train a model.
All traffic is encrypted in transit, and Procore connection tokens are encrypted before they are stored.
It starts as a test run. A Procore record changes only when an accountant acts, or when you switch on automatic passes.
Pricing
SOV Check is priced per Procore company, by how many invoices it checks each month. Tell us a little about your team and we’ll send pricing and set up a walkthrough.
Questions
Straight answers on what it checks, what it changes in Procore and who decides.
Security and data handlingNo. They keep entering their pay apps and bills in Procore and attaching the PDF, the way they do today. SOV Check works from those Procore records.
Beside your workflow, it only reads and reports. A Procore record changes only when an accountant acts: approving it, returning it to the vendor with a reason, or correcting the invoice number, billing date, billing period or current-period SOV amounts. Each correction is checked against the live invoice and read back from Procore after saving. As a step in your workflow, it passes matched invoices automatically, or holds them for an accountant to confirm, and sends the rest to accounting review with its findings in the workflow comment.
AI reads the document. Fixed rules then compare what it read with Procore, so the same invoice always gets the same answer, and every difference shows both values.
SOV Check matches what the sub billed to your SOV lines, even when their pay app is laid out differently from your schedule. When it can’t be certain, it says so and marks the invoice Needs review rather than guessing.
Yes. SOV Check runs beside your workflow, or as its own step inside it, wherever your approvals already happen. We configure it with your team and your Procore administrator, starting with a test run that only records results.
